Updated Security Settings
On June 26, 2021, FMCSA will be changing security settings on all FMCSA servers to meet cybersecurity requirements. This may impact certain internet browsers’ ability to connect to FMCSA systems, including the Clearinghouse website.
What do I need to do to continue accessing the Clearinghouse?
Make sure your computer or mobile device is running a current version of a modern operating system (e.g., Windows 10, macOS 10.15+). This issue will primarily impact older operating systems.
What can I do if I have trouble accessing the Clearinghouse after June 26, 2021?
Users can try one of the following options:
- Upgrade your computer’s operating system. This may require purchasing a new operating system. If you use Windows, make sure you have the most recent version installed.
- Upgrade your mobile device’s operating system. See how to update an iPhone or how to update an Android device.
- Use a different internet browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) to access the Clearinghouse.
- Use an alternate computer or mobile device, with an up-to-date operating system, to access the Clearinghouse.
