COVID-19 Update from FSSolutions

Due to the recent COVID-19 surge, some clinics and collection sites in our network are experiencing capacity and staffing issues. FSSolutions’ is doing its best to mitigate these issues, which may impact documentation and turnaround time. Please have your donors/candidates call the site to confirm hours of operation and wait time.


No later than January 30, 2014, CDL holders, who have notalready done so, must certify their driving status (e.g.,Interstate or Intrastate) and provide their respective StateDriver’s Licensing Agency (SDLA) with a copy of their currentmedical examiner’s certificate (med card). The SDLA willsubsequently post a driver’s medical certification status and medcard expiration date to the driver’s license record within 10business days. Beginning 15 days after the medical certificationwas submitted to the SDLA, a driver will no longer be able to usehis or her medical card as proof of medical certification. Failingto provide this information to the SDLA could cause loss of drivingprivileges.
